we always celebrate valentine’s day early. mostly because we hate the crowds and reserving a place in time at our favorite restaurant and … it’s just easier that way. because camden got a really fancy record player for christmas, we thought instead of exchanging v-day gifts this year it might be fun to go and pick out a few of our favorite records together. best idea we’ve ever had. our goal was to find the beatles album, hey, jude because well … you know … but no luck this time. we instead scored another great beatles album, abbey road, an old rolling stones album, and a little elton john. we ate at our favorite spot in the city, eva. if you live in salt lake and haven’t eaten there i suggest you do so … now. we are just about to watch about time … have you seen it? it seemed like a good movie to finish off our little pre-valentine’s date night. what are your valentine’s plans this year?

We kind of already celebrated Valentine's Day too, quite early! A little over a week ago, we went to Romeo and Juliet ballet. It was beautiful! The perfect way to spend our first married Valentine's Day together (and my husband surprisingly enjoyed it, too!)

That actually seems to be a great idea, we will do that too next year. The cinema in our town is already a mess in the weekends, i imagine how worst it is in valentines weekend.

Love how all your record finds are UK artists ๐Ÿ™‚ And About Time is such a great film. Fun and also British! My V-Day plans are to surprise my boyfriend by ordering Domino's pizza to his work, then when we're both home, light the fire, cook a meal together and watch a movie over a bottle of wine. Perfect!

My husband and I watched About Time yesterday. It was such a great movie!! Our Valentine's Day tradition is to go to the record store and each pick out a record. It has become tradition we both love and something we both look forward to!

Aw, what a fun idea. I know my husband is DYING to start a proper record collection. 'About Time' is such a precious film. My husband and I are both suckers for any movie that highlights the relationship between a parent and child.

What a great way to celebrate Valentineโ€™s Day! I love looking for records. Itโ€™s so fun to pick something out and then go home and listen to it. I like your idea of celebrating early. We usually just make dinner at home, because the crowds are so crazy.
