one hard to come by table and twenty two frames later we have ourselves one done, complete, finished, the end, dining room. i was pretty giddy about it this morning, to actually have a room in our house finished. it could very well be my favorite room in the house as well, so far anyway. camden and i commemorated it by having our very first dining room breakfast, cream cheeses and bagels, while waiting for the fridge repair man to arrive this morning. on a side note, i’m extremely glad i was able to talk camden into letting me paint one wall black. i’m just loving the way the frames pop off of the dark wall. anyway, the room is looking fab and after finishing our breakfast, the fridge man did come and fixed that not so cold fridge. add working appliances to the list of completes please. any suggestions or ideas on that first home cooked meal?

i'm loving everything about this room. what an awesome job you did especially with that single black wall. it helps makes the contents on the wall stand out more. i'd be giddy too if my dining room looked liked this! where is that lamp from??

Quite possibly the most perfect room! Really love the black wall. Doing an accent wall has always made me a bit nervous, but seeing a perfect one that is so drastic here makes me feel more comfortable with my own wall plans. πŸ™‚

You asked: "any suggestions or ideas on that first home cooked meal?"

^How about Thanksgiving dinner? That would be the perfect "first" meal. πŸ™‚
