i’m really excited to finally be able to share with you a little project i have been working on. over the summer, i had the privilege of designing the bag shown above for the wonderful, tukula, a company i have loved working with in the past and is no stranger to chalk white arrow. i am thrilled with the way this bag turned out. it’s the perfect mixture of something that has a little extra structure without loosing that bohemian feel tukula does so well. i have mine packed and ready for our beach vacation coming up later this week.

in case you need a bit of a refresher, tukula is an accessories line based out of uganda, giving young women the opportunity of having work with fair wages, medical care, and access to a savings program. every accessory purchased directly helps these women. you can check out their website by clicking here, and order this bag by clicking here.

    I love everything about Tukula – especially the concept & mission. I have spent time in east Africa so the cause and the people are near and dear to my heart. I will spend more time looking further and entering soon. I thank you for both the lovely giveaway AND the intro.

    But right now I just have to ask you – what is the name of the color and the brand of the nail polish you are wearing in the photos above? I almost never wear nail polish because despite the gazillion brands and colors – I never seem to find the right color that I love and that looks good on me. But I can stop looking at your hands and finger nails above and I think I'm in love with the color – O' and of course with the chalk white arrow bag as well! Thanks again.
