my strange cravings for random food mixes have landed me onto something truly brilliant. i’m not saying this particular combination has never been heard of or tried before, but i can say that if it weren’t for the cravings that this pregnancy has brought on, i would mostly likely not have stumbled upon this amazing creation of deliciousness for myself. i can honestly say this is the very best thing i’ve eaten in quite sometime, and even camden, one who does not usually care for an asiago bagel himself also agreed with the brilliance of my newfound treasure. okay, i may be hyping this up way too much but i’m so in love with it, i just couldn’t resist to share.

you will need:
one quality asiago cheese bagel
some plain cream cheese 
and apricot jam


toast your bagel then spread with cream cheese. top the cream cheese with apricot jam and devour.

    Ooo … I must say this would NEVER cross my mind, but reading and seeing it just here has made my mouth water. I'm currently at my desk daydreaming about eating one of these. How does the cheese mix with the apricot jam? I must say my first thoughts were "Eurrrg how weird!" but now I'm imagining the taste being nice. I love your recipes and food posts, says the fatty over here :o)

    An asiago bagel + fruity cream cheese is my absolute favorite thing! If you ever end up in Holladay, try the asiago bagel with cran-raspberry cream cheese at Rich's Bagels. It is truly the best.

      So true. Food tastes completely different to me now … Mostly in a good way … And when it's good, nothing can compare.
