this past week, we took baby jude on his first road trip up the uintas by mirror lake. it was beautiful up there. most of the days were overcast, cool, and rainy, which was a much needed break from the summertime heat. we spent the days hiking, grilling, having campfires, and sitting by the fire inside our cabin at bear river lodge. there wasn’t much sun, but every time it did peek from behind the clouds, baby jude would stretch his neck out long and push back his head from inside his carrier like he was trying to soak up every second of it. it was seriously the cutest thing.

Gorgeous photos! Looks like an amazing place.
Your photos are absolutely stunning! I've never actually heard of the Uintas before, but it looks like an amazing place to visit! Also, I've been dying to make smores this year and living in the UK thats not something that we have over here, but oh my, I think it's time I found some ingredients and tried them because they look so good! It looks like you guys definitely enjoyed your trip!
Have a great week!

Beautiful! Love your photos and always look forward to a blog post! xo
That intense, furrowed brow Baby Jude does is just about the sweetest, loveliest thing I've ever seen. Those early days where they are old enough to take out and about but small enough to carry in a front back are pretty darn magical, in my recollection. And the photos! The photos! Beautiful! (Is there a filter you use to create that particular aesthetic you achieve so well?)
I just found your blog and I love it here. Baby Jude appears to be one rad and obviously cute little bug. The photos are brilliant and brings a bit of relief for us in California hoping for rain….soon! Cant wait to explore your blog ~Ashley

your photography is lovely and baby Jude is beautiful! I love seeing him carried and cradled by his father, so sweet!
Glad to know you enjoyed your stay there. We've been there too and it's definitely worth it. We'll be coming back next time.
Gorgeous pictures! I love Mirror Lake… I live in Park City. The pictures of each of you with Jude in the baby carrier make me so happy! All babies should camp. And it inspires me to continue being outdoorsy when I have a baby one day. Beautiful family and great blog.
