for the past few years around this time camden and i find ourselves dog sitting three dogs plus kramer which makes four. one of our favorite restaurants, lone star taquería, just happens to be around the corner from the dog-filled house and we both constantly find any excuse to eat there just one more time. it has sadly been three nights in row now and even though we are stuffed to the brim with delicious mexican food, i know when tomorrow comes around we may just happen to eat there once more (or twice). and it’s not just the food we love either. we love sitting outside (when the weather permits) and enjoying above all, the atmosphere along with some delicious food as well as giving ourselves this little sense of vacation, even if it only lasts for a mere fifty minutes. i know it’s just a restaurant and honestly, i can’t find a way to say this next sentence without sounding like a major cheese ball, but lone star gives us a little something to look forward to and really is the perfect ending to our dog-filled days.

tacos and dogs, two great things! sometimes the familiarity of our favourite things is enough to brighten our day, for me instead of tacos it's tea. a cup of tea can make a huge difference

I kiiiiinda know what you mean. Wherever we go, people ask us to bring the dogs with us. Which is nice that they like our dogs. But I'm like "come on guys, I just want a break!!!!"
