these little feet will be traveling to faraway places very soon. camden, my two sisters, my mom, and i will be making our way over to new york city for a much needed vacation. needless to say, i’m beyond excited, over the moon excited, past the moon and back excited! even better, i will get to celebrate my birthday there, and seriously . . what more could i ask for? the only thing that could possibly make it better would be if kramer could come along with us, “kramer takes new york city”. sadly, he has to stay home while we travel without him. up until a few hours ago i thought we were going to have to leave him at a doggy hotel, which i was completely stressing out about due to the fact that kramer has never stayed without people he is familiar with, or without his home with all his things, bed, toys, and so on. just today however, some family graciously offered to stay and doggy sit this little guy, which totally lifted a whole lot of worry off my shoulders. – on a side note, i’m starting to get the feeling i will be a terribly worrisome mother if just leaving our dog has caused me this much grief. – if there is anything we shouldn’t miss while we are in the city (killer shopping, restaurants, etc.) please let me know. i’m totally enjoying hearing about all the fun unique places we shouldn’t miss out on . .
– i will try and get the post up tomorrow on where i got all the items seen
in the newly redesigned room and hopefully will answer all your questions.
Hope you have the greatest time here! Definitely check out The Counter in Times Square (the greatest burger bar) and Kyotofu (a Japanese fusion/dessert bar). Also, Brooklyn. The Promenade, Williamsburg and Park Slope!
Hi (I'm a new follower)! If you come across a "Nuts 4 Nuts" cart, you have to try them out. And the Halal cart on 53rd & 6th is amazing (just follow the long lineup!) and don't forget to add extra white sauce!
Love your blog.

Brooklyn Flea! Only on Sat & Sun and personally, I suggest Sunday because it's in Williamsburg on the waterfront which has incredible views of the city (you can take the water ferry there and/or back!). Make sure to get a people's popsicle! Madison Square Park is one of my favs and if you pass through it, make sure to walk by the dog park (it's my favorite one in town and will give you a big smile). While there, check out Shake Shack (or, if you're with anyone vegan, go down the street to Terri! unreal food/smoothies). Or go to Bryant Park on Monday night for a Movie in the Park (go a bit early to get a spot, bring bug spray). xo
Have fun! I get the same way about my pets when we travel!
