there is always this day in october where the wind picks up and starts ripping leaves off the trees and spiraling them into mini tornados. the dark clouds will eventually start to roll in while the air quickly becomes cooler, crisper, eerier … and from inside the house, a soft howling begins from the wind slipping in between the cracks of the old doors and windows. i like to call this day the perfect halloween storm. today was just this kind of day.
the official ingredients to celebrate the perfect halloween storm include:
+ fresh delicious donuts
+ apple cider poured piping hot from a tea kettle served with a cinnamon stick
+ someone to snuggle
+ a really good pumpkin candle
+ an old, fun but scary movie.
