sometimes when i’m redoing or uplifting a house, i find myself needing to get the job done inexpensively, yet i don’t want the design elements to look cheap or dinky. this is exactly the situation i find myself in now with our current home. i find anytime we move to a new floor plan with new quirks and wall spaces, the same decor doesn’t necessarily fit the same way as it did in the old place, plus it’s always fun to add some new elements to freshen things up or give a bland wall new life. this brings me to etsy. etsy is sort of my go to place when i need something beautiful and unique but can only spend some spare change. this isn’t to say there aren’t any expensive items awaiting your pocketbooks if you are willing, but more what is so great about etsy, the number of things for sale ranging from expensive to almost free. i’m always bewildered at the plethora of choices to choose from and the sheer number of talented people alone selling their creations or vintage finds. long story short, below are just a few of my favorite, generally inexpensive, beautiful purchases, made for our new home, from four wonderfully different stores on etsy.
