as this is the last and final post of our trip to england, i felt it only fitting to share with you just a few things that we wish could have returned home with us as well as a few of the things that we will miss most: first off … the word cheers. we love that everyone ends their conversations or even will say just in passing, “cheers”. we will also miss: the hospitality, the architecture, the history, the weather, the tea rooms – oh, the tea rooms – the miles and miles of green in every direction, the many fields filled with bright neon yellow, all the little cars, and of course the breathtaking gardens. also, i wanted to thank my dad for letting us tag along … we had the best of times!
p.s. these photos are from our final day in york at castle howard.
I really enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful pictures of England!
Hope you're having a marvelous time. Love seeing all your photos.
England is kind of beautiful in parts, isn't it? I always wish I lived in the US, but being here isn't so bad sometimes
I've loved reading your posts about England! They've made me extra proud of this little country of mine 🙂

This is my favourite post as part of the England Series. Seriously, you photographs are really really special!! The lighting captures just how overcast England is for much of the year and you really do all the architectural details and colours justice. These are so beautiful. You've made me nostalgic and that's the weirdest thing to say as I'm sat right here in England! I will go outside tomorrow and enjoy the best of our fields and bricks and tea rooms – you've reminded me how lucky we are to have them.
