i can’t tell you the last time we’ve had this much snow in november. in fact, i think in the last three days, we’ve had more snow than we did all of last year. there has literally not been more than a few hours that snow hasn’t been falling from the sky. it’s a complete winter wonderland out there, i love it! we’ve had all our winter gear out, even kramer put his boots and coat on to brave the one and a half feet of snow. this morning, our power went out which meant we went out for waffles and hot chocolate, of course. my waffle had bacon in it, mmmmm… bacon. i was having a total homer simpson moment. thankfully our power has been back on for a few hours now and our house is just starting to warm back up. it seems the winter storm is now passing and honestly i’m kind of sad to see it go. the constant snow has meant more warm snuggles inside, plus the falling snow is extra magical, which of course has put me even more in the mood for christmas, which, by the way, camden is loving – not. yesterday while painting yet another wall in our house, i’m ashamed to say i turned on old christmas music to keep me going. all in all, it was a cold but beautiful weekend. all i can say is i hope this is a sign of what’s to come as far as weather this winter. lots of snow please!
but baby it’s cold outside

So jealous! I want snow! Your pictures look beautiful! and that waffle got me hungry 🙂 x
Beautiful snow! I'm so excited for snow, but so not excited for it to stay for months and months. I love the dog booties 😀
I got stuck on the waffle with bacon in it…. Ah, yum! I'm ready for Christmas music, but I;m trying to hold out until the end of next week. We'll see if I make it, eh?
The dog booties are so freaking cute! I didn't know REI carried doggie booties!
I love all of these pictures.. they are the perfect visual representation of winter 🙂 Enjoy all that snow before it melts again!

Ooo! Everything looks so perfect for this time of the year! You have no idea how much jealousy is in my bones as I type this! Being in Florida is killing me as I admire your snow topped trees and scarves and hot drinks. It all reminds me of growing up in NY! So sorry that your power went out, but it looks like you made it through 🙂
Nice pics!
