ameda pump + a giveaway! {closed}

Hey Jude

DSC_4240
what can i say about the ameda breast pump … the first words that come to mind would have to be life-saver. getting jude full and happy has been one of the biggest struggles for me as a new parent. why isn’t he eating? why is he eating so much (to the point of throwing it all back up)? these are just a few of the questions that constantly flood my mind. before this breast pump, i was manually pumping on the regular for relief. i didn’t want to give up breast feeding but because of his acid reflux, getting jude on a regular and consistent eating schedule has been next to impossible. sometimes, however, i would skip a pump just because, honestly … my arm was too tired. i had been debating on whether to invest in an electric pump for some time when … ameda offered one for me to try. i was obviously beyond excited. it is totally, like i said, a life saver. i’m able to get so much more milk each time and having extra breast milk for jude to drink on the go, or to be able to add some into his formula has been awesome. the ameda breast pump is small and easy to use and comes with a carrying case so it’s easily portable. plus … guess what, you guys? ameda is giving one lucky chalk white arrow reader the chance to win one for yourself so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post for directions on how to enter!!

Wow, this giveaway would be perfect for me. I am currently borrowing a pump that I have to give back soon, plus it's so big and bulky it does not fit on my bedside table and is not very easy on-the-go. I also like the look of this breast pump. It would truly be the best thing for me, as I plan to use it for my 2-month old and for my future children as well!

I too have a little 5 month old (only in the 3rd percentile) and i have been struggling trying to get more milk into him. I have a hand pump but i just cant get enough with it. Id love to have the opportunity to get more at each pumping session with an electric pump. Hopefully i can win this one, kathleenwhite@live.ca

Oh! This is awesome! I'm currently borrowing a pump but my little boy loves to nurse. Pumping gives me the opportunity to be mobile and I love that. What a great giveaway!

After reading the glowing reviews of the Ameda pump, I have realized that not all pumps are alike. I have always known this….but sometimes it is hard to tell just by looking at a product. I am pregnant with #3 and due December 27th. I did not breastfeed my first due to lack of moral support. I breastfed my second for 2.5 years with no pumping at all. But with this baby, our circumstances have changed and I will need to pump often. I want/need a pump that is going to work and work well from the get go. This one looks like a good fit. I like that it is easily portable (a must for my family!) and has cooling packs to keep my milk chilled. Thanks for the chance to win one!

just to let you know, i had to pump/bottle feed my oldest daughter, but i only had a manual pump and my milk starting drying up after about four/five months. i found out that the manual pump is only supposed to be used occasionally because it doesn't do as good a job getting the milk out as a baby sucking does. it's not intended to do the job full time. i was devastated that my body quit making breast milk and i had to switch to formula, i wish someone would have told me if you are exclusively pumping you need an electric pump.

I'm not sure why, but I never thought that Target would sell breast pumps (although they have just about everything there). This would be so great to have.

My first little one is due in April. There are so many breast pumps out on the market…all the options can be a little overwhelming. This one seems great from all the positive reviews I read. I hope I get lucky!!

I just started the process of researching breast pumps and, after about 20 minutes, found that I was 99% overwhelmed and stopped. Baby will be making his or her appearance in April, so I've got time, but, since you're giving this one a rave review, it might be my go-to. Also, how did you make a breast pump look so pretty?! These photographs are like breast-pumping-goes-Kinfolk. Everybody's going to want to pump now 🙂

winning this would be so helpful! i've been wanting to start storing my milk for the future but it's hard when you don't have a good pump – i just have a manual one and my arm gets so tired!

Oh my gosh, this is a dream come true. We are expecting our first little babe in a few short months and what I wouldn't do for the Purely Yours. I've been researching like a fiend and this is the one I keep coming back to, I'm so happy to read your glowing review! It's everything I'm looking for in a pump and it's so nice to hear that it's actually as good in reality as it looks on paper. Hurray!

I'm due in December with my first little one and will be exclusively breastfeeding but my insurance doesn't cover a pump so it will be a while before I can afford one. This would be incredibly helpful! 🙂 (stacycomstock@yahooDOTcom)

I have heard amazing things about Ameda's pumps. The Purely Yours is a top of the line electric pump. The carryall tote would provide me with everything I need when my first child is born in 4 weeks.

Completed steps 1-2. Zaden isn't nursing anymore but I would love to win one of these for our second baby (whenever I get preggo again). I remember manually pumping was always so difficult for me.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

Checked out both sites – strangely enough I have never even heard of Ameda pumps until now, and they look awesome! I have a breast milk guzzling baby boy whom I have been pumping to try and keep up with his demands. Been using a manual hand pump, which is exhausting and not as effective. Would SO love to own a new electric pump! Thank you for this!

I checked out both sites. Its been 12 years since I breast feed so I'd love to try the Ameda brand. Their site is very informative for moms restarting the milk production and those who are first time users as well. jmstewart at aol dot com

This pump looks really nice. I love that it has such a compact design and a spot to rest bottles when you aren't holding them so they don't tip over.

Think having a breast pump is such a necessary thing for breastfeeding. I would give me a chance to take a break every once in a while.

I checked out ameda's website. I checked out this breast pump and read more about it. I'm due to have my baby girl in January. I can't afford a breast pump and I'm really hoping to win this. Thanks for the chance.

I checked both sites out. This looks like an amazing breast pump! I can only afford a manual one but I think this one would be much more helpful. I'm starting to pump for my 8 month old so hell have milk when I go back to work 🙁
