you know those recipes you find on pinterest that look so good yet you never get around to making? or in our case, making anything not straight out of the freezer… well last night i decided it was time to try one i’d been eyeing for a while and get out of our frozen food rut. we made “skillet baked stuffed rigatoni” and … wow! was it good. besides being slightly difficult to prepare in a tiny kitchen (but then again, what isn’t?) and stuffing each noodle with the combined cheeses, which was a bit time consuming, i think we would make it again. plus we have plenty of leftovers to last us a few nights this week. and seriously … it was so nice to sit down at our actual dining table and give our poor coffee table a rest for once … i mean really … that is what it’s meant for anyway! next week i’m thinking of trying this “lemon thyme cake”. maybe for our weekend brunch?
*p.s. you can see the recipe mentioned above as well as the pin’s original home here.
everything you do is just perfection. 🙂 xx

hmm…you aren't really supposed to do tomatoes in cast iron pans. The iron leeches in and make it taste metallic.
Good to know. It was what the recipe called for and the dish tasted good but thanks for the tip.
the best part is the martinellis. perfect!
Looks so good! Love how you arranged it in the pan 🙂
This looks amazing! I don't think I'd have the patience to stuff each one though. But I might just have to make a baked pasta dish. Yum!
Almost too pretty to eat! That looks amazing.
So glad i stumbled across your lovely blog! the layout is crazy cute!

Lovely photos! What camera and lens do you use to capture your day to day ?
I use a Nikon D3200 and most often use the 18-55 mm AF-S DX Nikkor VR Lens. Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing!
hay hay, I made the lemon and thyme cake and it was amazing. Do make it! the thyme is not very over powering and the icing is heavenly!

Oh my goodness that looks heavenly. I probably shouldn't look at recipe posts when I haven't eaten lunch yet, haha.
Definitely pinning this one for myself!
